We Met the Challenge!

Thank you to all our generous donors who took part in our $100,000 Challenge!

Our long time Chair Emerita Louise Reed and her husband, Alan, challenged the community of dance lovers to give $100,000 – and in less than two months we met the challenge! Thank you to all 250 loyal supporters who accepted the Reed’s challenge and made a gift to the Ballet during the months of May and June.

But we’re not finished yet…

We here at Pennsylvania Ballet strive to go above and beyond. Please help us raise an additional $25,000 for the Pennsylvania Ballet Annual Fund before July 31st! By making a gift to the Annual Fund today, your support will help us finish out our fiscal year in an improved financial state and allow us to continue preparing for a spectacular 50th Anniversary Season in the fall!

The Pennsylvania Ballet Annual Fund helps to support the acquisition and presentation of new works, underwrite the Pennsylvania Ballet Orchestra, and provide the resources necessary to attract and retain world-class dancers. Annual Fund dollars also go to providing essentials such as costumes, pointe shoes, and physical therapy for our dancers. Additionally, Annual Fund gifts support Pennsylvania Ballet’s outreach and education program, Accent on Dance. This program touches the lives of nearly 10,000 local school children annually by providing them with meaningful experiences that foster their cultural development and introduce them to the art form of dance.
