Technical Rehearsal and Reception

(Enthusiast level – $250 +)
Evening technical rehearsals provide a behind-the-scenes look at the process of bringing a performance from the studio to the stage. Join us for a wine and cheese reception in the theater lobby and then watch as the lighting, sound and other technical aspects of staging the production are tested while the dancers rehearse.

Philadelphia Ballet Panel Discussion and Reception

(Aficionado level – $1,000 +)
This members-only lecture series offers a scholarly discussion about dance with members of Philadelphia Ballet’s artistic staff and cultural leaders from the Philadelphia area. This season’s panel will feature a discussion on death, murder, and suicide and how these topics frequent stories across the arts, specifically in ballet, opera, and theater. Serving on the panel is our own Principal Dancer Ian Hussey, Catharine Slusar, Assistant Professor of Theater at Bryn Mawr College and Michael Bolton, Vice President of Community Initiatives at Opera Philadelphia, and Maud McInerney Professor of Comparative Literature has agreed to be our moderator.
