11:00am – Luncheon at Estia
1:00pm – Dress Rehearsal Performance of Re/Action
Join fellow ballet enthusiasts for a delicious pre-rehearsal luncheon at Estia and hear about life behind the curtain from our featured speaker, Charles Askegard. Charles is the Janis and Stephen Goodman Ballet Master at Pennsylvania Ballet.  His impressive career started at American Ballet Theater under the direction of Mikhail Baryshnikov, where he danced many leading roles in his 10 years with the Company. In 1997 he joined the New York City Ballet where he performed for 14 years as a Principal Dancer.
After lunch, attendees will cross the street for a fully-staged dress rehearsal performance of Re/Action, featuring ballets from Christopher Wheeldon, George Balanchine, and a World Premiere by Matthew Neenan.
Tickets will be on sale at a later date. Please contact Rachael Glashan Rupisan, Manager of Corporate Sponsorship & Special Events, at (215) 587-6915 or rrupisan@paballet.org with questions. Thank you for your support!
