Ekaterina Pokrovskaya, a Russian native, graduated with an honors degree from Kazan Ballet College in 2012, where she performed as a soloist in many ballet festivals and theater performances. Ms. Pokrovskaya was also a scholar of the Ministry of Culture and Grishko. After graduating, Ms. Pokrovskaya was invited to join The Russian State Ballet Theatre as a soloist. In 2014, Miss Pokrovskaya won 1st prize in the Spoleto Dance Competition in Italy and subsequently joined the Russian National Ballet Theatre as a Principal Dancer. After an American tour with the Company she was invited to join the New Jersey Ballet Company. Ms. Pokrovskaya was also a finalist of the Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition and won 2nd place and Best Choreography Award for her piece “Alien” at the Easton Ballet Competition. Ms. Pokrovskaya joined Pennsylvania Ballet II in 2016.
