Petite Mort and World Premieres

Our November Mixed Repertoire program shows where contemporary ballet has been, and gives a taste of where it might be headed. Featuring men, women, and fencing foils, Jiří Kylián’s daring and provocative Petite Mort has been an audience favorite since its premiere in 1991. The program also includes world premieres from award-winning choreographer and Philadelphia Ballet company dancer Russell Ducker and Gallim Dance founder and artistic director Andrea Miller, who is currently Artist in Residence at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
