Jong Suk Park
Jong Suk Park attended the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington D.C. from 2006-2009. While there, Mr. Park performed such roles as Cavalier in Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov’s The Nutcracker, Solar in the Adagio from Marius Petipa’s La Bayadère, and Prince Seigfried in the 4th Act variation from Marius Petipa’s Swan Lake.
Upon graduation, Mr. Park joined The Washington Ballet Studio Company in 2009 where he performed solos from Petipa’s Sleeping Beauty and Flames of Paris as well as with the main company in their productions of Septime Webre’s Giselle and Petipa’s Don Quixote.
Mr. Park joined the Corps de Ballet of Pennsylvania Ballet for the 2011-2012 Season and was promoted to Soloist for the 2012-2013 Season. He has danced leading roles in Giselle (Peasant Pas de Deux), Jiří Kylián’s Forgotten Land (White Couple), and several Balanchine works including George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker™ (Cavalier), Square Dance, Ballo della Regina, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Oberon).
