Leadership Barre

The Leadership Barre Society (annual donors of $2,500 and above) demonstrates a commitment to Pennsylvania Ballet's success and sustainability. A contribution at this leadership giving level helps the Ballet to attract and retain world-class dancers, artistic staff, choreographers, and musicians, as well as invest in new choreographic works.
Leadership Barre donors provide the support necessary to preserve Pennsylvania Ballet as a leading cultural institution in Philadelphia – from upholding the highest artistic standards and investing in new repertoire, to enabling the Ballet's outreach and education efforts Philadelphia area schools, to providing scholarship assistance for talented and underprivileged students at The School of Pennsylvania Ballet. 
By becoming a Leadership Barre donor, you will enhance your experience at the Ballet while deepening your appreciation of dance. You will have numerous opportunities each season to gain exclusive access to the Company dancers and artistic staff – from toasting the dancers during intermission to celebrating the end of the season by attending a cocktail reception in a private home, you will truly become a Pennsylvania Ballet insider.

  • Bronze Level $2,500 to $4,999

    All Annual Fund donor benefits (season event guide, six admissions to Dress Rehearsals, invitations to working studio rehearsals, the Pennsylvania Ballet panel discussion and reception, evening technical rehearsals; a signed pair of pointe shoes, and year-round listing in Playbill), plus:

    -          Intermission Ballroom refreshments at The Academy of Music* (Enjoy a glass of champagne in an exclusive backstage setting while mingling with Company dancers!)

    -          Opportunities for backstage tours at The Academy of Music

    -          2 Parquet/ Orchestra performance tickets (Please call the Development Office to redeem)

  • Silver Level $5,000 to $9,999

    -          Opportunity to be recognized as a Pointe Shoe Sponsor for a female Company dancer (of your choosing) for an entire performance season

    -          Watch a performance from the wings of the Academy of Music

  • Gold Level $10,000 to $14,999

    Benefits listed above plus:

    -          Invitation to a celebratory dinner hosted by the Chair of the Board of Trustees on opening night of a performance at the Academy of Music
