The School of Pennsylvania Ballet will hold its year-end performances on Friday, May 24 through Sunday, May 26, 2019 at the Suzanne Roberts Theater in Center City, Philadelphia. This season, over 160 SPB students from ages 3 to 19 will bring the magical age-old tale of The Sleeping Beauty to life. Choreographed by James and Bridget Payne after Marius Petipa, set to a score by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, this production remains one of the world’s most popular ballets almost 130 years since it was first staged. We are thrilled to present this classic in Philadelphia and showcase the technique and artistry of The School of Pennsylvania Ballet students.
