SPB has cancelled all residential and in-person programming for the summer of 2020 due to the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. We are transitioning to a virtual, live-class training experience.

Utilizing the Zoom platform, our students will experience training which will provide individual feedback to the students.  The program is focused on training the mind as well as the body reflecting the needs of today’s professional dance world. During the program you can expect your student to grow physically, mentally, and emotionally.

The SPB Virtual Summer Program will offer lessons in technique, pointe, variations, Pilates, Yoga, music awareness, contemporary, and cardio conditioning.  Other discussions and seminars will include injury prevention, dance history, analyzing choreography, wellness, as well as Q&A sessions with our Company Dancers and Artistic Leadership.  Even with distance learning we will provide social programming which may include Ballet Watch Parties; Game Nights; Trivia Nights; etc.

SPB is offering 8 weeks of Virtual Summer Programming:

Session 1: June 22 – July 17, 2020                                Session 2: July 20 – August 14
You can choose either session 1, 2, or both sessions for 8 weeks of training.  If you would prefer to customize your weeks, please contact us.

Your Virtual Dance Space

The safety of our students is of the utmost importance during our Virtual Summer Program. While we have no control over the students individual space, we are compiling some guidelines and references for their space in order to receive the greatest benefit from our program. We are working with Harlequin to develop a cost effective sprung floor panel. They have been very gracious and further details of that product as well as other spacial recommendations will be sent to our students directly.
