The Young Friends of Pennsylvania Ballet is a dynamic group of young professionals, between the ages of 21 and 35, who enjoy classical and contemporary ballet and learning more about the art form. Young Friends receive special, behind-the-scenes access and opportunities to interact with the dancers of Pennsylvania Ballet.

Members must register online and must be between the ages of 21 and 35. As well, all Young Friends season ticket packages are limited to Friday and Saturday evening performances only.



Curtain Pass is a flexible and affordable season pass for just $75! All you need to do is go online and register as a Young Friend of Pennsylvania Ballet, and then purchase your Curtain Pass, which gets you one (1) ticket to either a Friday or Saturday evening performance for all six ballets of the 2017/2018 season. Curtain Pass tickets will be made available on the Tuesday prior to each ballet series, and Young Friends will be able reserve select seats along with the option to purchase additional tickets at $20 each to bring a friend, subject to availability. An alert with instructions on how to redeem your ticket(s) will be emailed to you after your purchase. As a Young Friends Curtain Pass member you will also be eligible for 15% off additional show tickets (including George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®) as well as e-newsletters, invitations to our “Preludes” pre-show discussions in the theater, and “Conversations with Pennsylvania Ballet” at the Philadelphia City Institute Library.

Become A Contributing Member! Young Friends Curtain Pass members who are able to make an additional contribution of $50 or more to Pennsylvania Ballet will receive enhanced benefits and special opportunities such as recognition in the Playbill throughout the season, invitations to working technical rehearsals and cocktail receptions at the Merriam Theater, and discount Shut Up & Dance tickets (an annual benefit for MANNA produced and presented by dancers of Pennsylvania Ballet).
