Acting as our community ambassadors, Philadelphia Ballet II (PBII) is in the community inspiring through performance.

In 2016, PBII helped launch a Family Series of one-hour ballets for young children and families. These performances, which have included The Jungle Book, Snow White, and Prince Charming: A Cinderella Story, help expose young children to the world of ballet through the stories of beloved and accessible tales. Venues for performances have included the Curtis Institute of Music’s Family Series, Upper Darby Performing Arts Center, the Ware Center (Lancaster), and the Prince Music Theater, Cherry Hill, N.J. and Kingston, PA.

PBII also performs in a series of pop-up performances which occur throughout the city. These pop-up performances occur at community centers, public gardens, libraries, local senior living centers, and arts venues, among others.
