We offer a variety of programs designed to expose new worlds and opportunities to Philadelphia-area school children through dance. 85% of the population receiving our programs and services are students who are economically disadvantaged, and more than 90% of the programs are offered free of charge.

DANCE CHANCE

Dance Chance is an instructional program that brings ballet to first-grade classrooms in Philadelphia schools. The goal of this program is to empower children from diverse and primarily underserved communities to find new space for physical, emotional, and intellectual growth.

LET'S DANCE! PENNSYLVANIA BALLET & DELPHI PROJECT FOUNDATION’S MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAM

Founded 22 years ago through a partnership between Philadelphia Ballet and the Delphi Project Foundation of Reliance Standard Life Insurance, this program provides a unique after-school experience for students from underserved local middle schools.

SUMMER DANCE EXPERIENCE

Students who have participated in the Let’s Dance! Middle School Program and those at Philadelphia public high schools are invited to a week-long camp at the Philadelphia Ballet studios, free of charge.

MOTION & MUSIC ACADEMY

The much-anticipated launch of the Mann Center’s first after school arts program, Motion & Music Academy (MMA) is finally here! Motion and Music Academy is an all year round after-school arts learning program designed to provide quality choir, drumming, and dance classes to students of the Parkside neighborhood.

STUDENT MATINEES & CURRICULUM SERIES

Students from public, private, parochial, and home school cooperatives in Philadelphia, Camden, NJ, and surrounding areas are invited to attend school-day matinees of select Philadelphia Ballet performances at the Academy of Music.

HIGH SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM

Philadelphia Ballet’s High School Partnership Program offers a dance education program that provides in-depth dance engagement and instruction at the high school level.

CAREER PATHWAYS

As a leader in its field, Philadelphia Ballet seeks to share its knowledge with students and young professionals interested in a career related to performance and theater production to open up career pathways.
