We offer a variety of programs designed to expose new worlds and opportunities to Philadelphia-area school children through dance. 85% of the population receiving our programs and services are students who are economically disadvantaged, and more than 90% of the programs are offered free of charge.
ADAPTED PROGRAMS
Pennsylvania Ballet works with partner organizations across the region to make the art of dance accessible and adaptable to the needs of all audiences. Through programs in our studio, in schools, at partner centers, and in our theater, we find ways to take existing programs and adapt them to serve populations with specific needs.
COMMUNITY PROGRAMS
Through behind-the-scenes tours of our studios, master classes taught by an artistic staff member or dancer, and more — we offer opportunities for people of all ages to gain a deeper understanding of and experience the world of ballet, in their neighborhoods and in our school.
PUBLIC PERFORMANCES
Our community ambassadors Pennsylvania Ballet II, and the talented students from The School of Pennsylvania Ballet, perform in non-traditional venues and entertain with family-friendly programming, spreading the beauty of ballet throughout the region.
