Preludes feature an ever-changing roster of company members, artistic staff, and visiting artists offering unmatched behind-the-scenes insights. Preludes begin one hour prior to show time and are free for all patrons of the performance they precede.

Preludes are a great way to meet other ballet fans, enhance your knowledge of the art form, and get to know the artists behind Philadelphia Ballet’s beautiful and thrilling performances.

  • Thursday, April 4th – 6:30pm: Angel Corella, Artistic Director
  • Friday, April 5th – 6:30pm: Vicky Simon, Repetiteur, Apollo 
  • Saturday, April 6th – 1:00pm: Lillian DiPiazza, Principal Dancer
  • Saturday, April 6th – 7:00pm: Beatrice Jona Affron, Music Director and Conductor
  • Sunday, April 7th – 1:00pm: Matthew Neenan, Choreographer, Deco
