Students who have participated in the Let’s Dance! Middle School Program and those at Philadelphia public high schools are invited to a week-long camp at the Philadelphia Ballet studios, free of charge. This 5-day intensive program, taught by prominent Philadelphia dance instructors from professional companies and dance academia, exposes students to various dance genres including jazz, ballet, and modern. In addition to learning many types of dance, the program focuses on the importance of committed, serious training, as one might find in professional dance careers, and prepares students to take their interest in dance to the next level. The week culminates in a performance by participating students to showcase new skills and choreography for friends and family.
